Hit play and the demo opens right here on the page: virtual balance, no account, nothing to install. Then look at what The Dog House slot does over more than ten spins — we have aggregated data from 44.4 million real spins, from how often the bonus lands to the biggest win anyone has actually recorded. That gap is the whole story: one lucky hit on one side, the long run on the other.

We run thousands of spins through the slot's calibrated maths and show what the game looks like over the long run — not just one lucky big win.

Free, no sign-up. The balance is virtual.
This is an information site. The demo mode is free, the balance is virtual and cannot be withdrawn. 18+.
Example: Bet €4, three Rottweilers on a line: 4 × 2.5 = €10. Five Rottweilers would pay €150.

Five reels, three rows, wins pay left to right. Lines can't be switched off — your bet is always split across all twenty.
The kennel lands on reels 2, 3 and 4 only. When several wilds join the same win, their multipliers are added together — not multiplied.
Any wild that lands on reels 2-4 during the bonus stays put until the round ends, multiplier included. There is no retrigger.
Three paw symbols on reels 1, 3 and 5 start the round. A 3×3 grid draws the number of spins: every cell shows 1, 2 or 3, and the cells are added up.
The official build returns 96.51%, but casinos often run a certified 95.51% version instead. The only place the difference shows is the game's own info screen.
Eight titles in Pragmatic Play's official catalogue between 2019 and 2026, plus Dice Show for selected markets — from the original kennel to Megaways 1000 and its 25,000× ceiling.
The demo runs on this page. Press the button on the poster and the game loads in the frame — no account, no deposit, and nothing to download. The balance is virtual, so it can't be withdrawn. This is Pragmatic Play's own demo build: the reels, the paytable and the maths are the same ones the real-money The Dog House game uses, and the only real difference is where the money on screen comes from.
The Dog House free play starts you on a virtual balance of €100,000 with no timer, and reloading the page tops it back up, which makes the demo the right place to learn the rhythm of the slot — how long a dead streak feels, how often a wild rescues a spin. After that, run the same maths through the simulator higher up the page. Ten spins tell you what a slot feels like; a thousand tell you what it is.
Wins pay on twenty fixed lines, left to right, and none of them can be switched off — your total bet is always divided by twenty. The engine of the whole game is the wild kennel on the three middle reels: it stands in for any symbol except the bonus paw and carries a ×2 or ×3 multiplier. When two or more wilds take part in the same win, their multipliers are added rather than multiplied, so two ×3 wilds make ×6, not ×9.
That single rule is why a plain three-of-a-kind can turn into a payout worth noticing. Without a wild, the low symbols return fractions of your stake — three tens pay a tenth of the bet. The full paytable for every symbol is above, already converted into multiples of your total bet.
The breakdown for every game in the series sits in the RTP table. This is the difference between luck and the long run: one big hit says nothing about a slot, while tens of millions of spins say almost everything.
Nearly every review states that three paw symbols award exactly nine free spins. The game's own rules screen says otherwise, and that is where we checked it: the number of spins is drawn on a 3×3 grid, each of the nine cells shows 1, 2 or 3, and the cells are added together. Nine is the floor — the case where every cell came up as a one. Twenty-seven is the ceiling.
From there the round is about stacking. Every wild that lands on reels 2, 3 and 4 sticks until the last spin, multiplier and all, and it is that pile of sticky multipliers that builds toward the 6,750× cap. There is no way to retrigger: the special free-spin reels carry no bonus symbols at all.
The paytable inside the game lists wins in line bets: five Rottweilers pay 750. Most sites writing a The Dog House slot review copy that number across as it stands, and it tells a player nothing, because nobody picks a line bet — you pick a total bet. On twenty lines, a €4 spin puts €0.20 on each line, so those 750 become €150 of winnings, which is 37.5 times what you actually staked.
We recalculated the whole table on that basis. Every multiplier on this page can be applied straight to your own bet: €4 in, ×37.5 on five Rottweilers, €150 back. Numbers that look bigger elsewhere are the same wins measured against a smaller unit.
The Dog House became Pragmatic Play's longest-running franchise: eight The Dog House slots in the official catalogue between 2019 and 2026, plus one built for selected markets. Megaways added 117,649 ways to win and a choice between two bonus modes, Multihold runs up to four grids at once, Muttley Crew moved the series onto 5×5 clusters, the western Dog or Alive taught sticky wild multipliers to double, and Royal Hunt added royal free spins with ×10 and ×20 wilds. Two more arrived in 2026: The Big Dog House with wilds in three sizes and a 15,000× ceiling, and Megaways 1000 with a record 25,000×.
The ninth game, Dice Show, never made the provider's public catalogue — it is a version for markets that need dice in place of card symbols. We ran it in the demo and covered it like the rest. Where a game in the series offers a feature buy, we took the prices straight from its own rules screen rather than from other reviews.
Three of the fifteen casinos in our table — IRIS, WinSpirit and RX — run The Dog House at the full 96.51%; the other twelve carry the certified 95.51% build, so the whole spread is exactly one percentage point, the narrowest of any game we checked. It is also the only title in the series where nobody installs the bottom 94.5% tier: the eleven casinos that load the sequels in 94.5x builds still give the original kennel 95.51%. Wherever you open this game, the worst case is a point below the label, not two.
The stake ceiling, meanwhile, tells you nothing about the build. Twelve casinos share the identical 95.51% version yet cap a spin at different levels: €14 at SpinPanda, €36 at Drakaris, RocketPlay, Ritzo, Spin Samurai, 21bit24, Wild Fortune and Casino Rocket, €240 at LuckyGem and Spininio, AU$72 at MateSlots and CHF 36 at Mr Punter — the last two in Australian dollars and Swiss francs, so they do not compare directly with the euro rows. Even the three full-RTP casinos sit far apart: €36 at RX, €100 at WinSpirit and €500 at IRIS, the highest limit this game gets anywhere in our set. The minimum is €0.20 (CHF 0.20 at Mr Punter) at all fifteen, without exception; only the top end moves.
